Progress!

From Mama to La:

We are building faster than I can update, so these are a little behind.

Bathroom, with wall and tub installed:

View from the back to the front; only one coat of paint so far:

Full shot of back wall; dark wood will go all the way to the top:

La building the base for our kitchen cabinets:

On tap for today: another trip to Home Depot, kitchen counter framing, math, French, and catching practice. Busy!!

    1. Thank you!! It is actually really comfortable. If we hadn't put the cleanout so low (rookie building mistake) it would have made a great soaking tub.

  2. Where do you get a tub like that?

    1. Ours was donated by a local tack shop, Wildhorse Feed and Seed, in Powder Springs, Georgia. It's a 2'x2'x3' galvanized water trough.

    1. Thanks! That same wood will be on the floor, running perpendicular to the wall. The walls will be rubbed with linseed or some other such oil, and I think we are going to poly the floor. Looking for low-VOC finishes, but I am not sure if that's possible for the floors.
